Personal care products:
AOS is used in sulfate-free shampoos, liquid and bar soaps, hand sanitizers, bath lotions, bubble baths, and facial cleansers. It can give products a rich, creamy texture and make bubbles thick and fluffy. AOS is also effective with hard water and can be used in solid or cream products without heating the solution.
Household products:
AOS is used in dishwashing liquids, vehicle wash liquids, and detergents. It has good cleaning and degreasing properties, and can clean skin without stripping it of its natural oils.
Other applications:
AOS is also used in emulsion polymerization, concrete and mortar conditioning, and pesticide formulation.
